When I first encounter the old depictions of this creature, I cannot help but feel a lingering sense of unfairness at how human imagination rushed to judgment. We love our villains in history, pinning labels on ancient animals before we truly listen to what their fossilized bones have to say.


However, modern paleontological research and cutting-edge fossil analysis have completely shattered this long-standing prejudice. Far from being a heartless egg-stealer, this creature was actually a devoted parent, guarding its clutch to the bitter end against the hazards of the Late Cretaceous. It is time to face the true face of this unique theropod that roamed the harsh sandstorms of ancient Asia.
